Laser Therapy

As women, we go through a myriad of changes throughout our lifetime – puberty, childbearing, and menopause, just to name a few – and these events can have quite an effect on our bodies. Hormone fluctuations, hair loss, change in skin texture and loss of elasticity in our skin are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what we experience over the years. What you may not know is that while these changes are natural, they can cause a loss of function, as well as confidence, especially when your sexual organs are affected. It may seem like an embarrassing topic to bring up, let alone to talk about treating, but rest assured that you are not the only woman suffering from these issues. At Cosmetic Gynecology and Aesthetics, we understand that you may feel hesitant to seek treatment, but because we are a practice OF women, FOR women, we are sensitive to that, and strive to make you feel as comfortable as possible from start to finish.

After going through childbirth and as the natural aging process progresses, it is common for women to experience dryness, looseness, and other symptoms in their genital region. These issues alone can be uncomfortable, but they can also cause more problems, both cosmetic and functional. Many women may feel self-conscious about these conditions or even be unaware that there are options available to address them. We offer several treatments for vaginal rejuvenation, including the Phoenix CO2 vaginal laser.

WHAT IS THE PHOENIX LASER?

The Phoenix laser utilizes CO2 fractional laser technology. This technology is designed to deliver fractional beams of CO2 laser energy to the vaginal tissues via precise pulses. These waves of laser energy cause the tissues to contract, as well as to stimulate natural collagen production in the targeted treatment area. The result is improved elasticity, less vaginal atrophy, increased vaginal tightness, and added support at the base of the bladder.

This minimally invasive treatment is safe, painless, and only takes 10-15 minutes per session. There is no downtime for healing, and no side effects.
